Our Story

20 years of building,
one detail at a time

Nelson has been working in construction since high school. What started as helping a friend run a remodel business turned into a craft he spent two decades perfecting. That hands-on foundation, learning the trade from the ground up, is what shapes how NC Remodeling approaches every project today.

Six years ago, Nelson launched NC Remodeling with a clear goal: build a company where the work speaks for itself. No shortcuts, no cut corners, no passing your project off to someone who doesn't care about the outcome. Every job gets the same attention to detail, whether it's a single bathroom refresh or a full basement finish.

Nelson and his team were an absolute dream to work with! They finished our basement and completed several other improvements around the house, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Communication was stellar from start to finish, and the quality of their work truly speaks for itself. They helped make our home feel more personal and brought our ideas to life with care, skill, and attention to detail. We’re already looking forward to having Nelson back to tackle more projects on our list. We highly recommend him and his team!

We had a great experience with Nelson and NC Remodeling finishing our basement. The quality of the work was excellent, they were always on time, and the price was very reasonable. They framed all the walls, completed the insulation and electrical work, and installed the doors. They also met with us several times throughout the process, keeping us informed and making sure we always knew what was happening. We’re very happy with the finished basement and would definitely recommend them!
